General:
www.rspca.org.uk providing lots of useful information on all aspects of pet care for dogs, cats, small furries and others. The RSPCA also has lots of information and advice on horses, wildlife, farm and laboratory animals.
www.pdsa.org.uk The People's Dispensary for Sick Animals is the UK's leading veterinary chartiy. There is plenty of advice on pet care and information about how to apply for financial assistance with veterinary costs if you are in receipt of benefits, should your pet become unwell. 
www.bluecross.org.uk The Blue Cross has a number of animal hospitals as well as rehoming centres. They offer pet bereavement support and an online pet memorial service, as well as loads of pet care advice.
www.cinnamon.org.uk The Cinnamon Trust is the national charity for the elderly, terminally ill and their pets. They use a network of volunteers for helping with day to day pet care and short term fostering, as well as running two sanctuaries.
 
Training and behaviour:
www.petsinpractise.co.uk Kris Glover is our local training and behaviour expert. Kris and her team run a variety of training classes for dogs and offer behavioural advice for both dogs and cats.
 
Dogs: 
www.dogstrust.org.uk Dogs Trust provide information on rescue and rehoming. There is some information on specific breeds and an A-Z of doggy issues.
www.thekennelclub.org.uk providing advice on choosing and purchasing a dog, with information on specific breeds. Also plenty of information on how to care for our canine pals.
 
Cats:
www.fabcats.org visit the Feline Advisory Bureau for information on all things feline, including behaviour, fact sheets on feline diseases and poisons.
www.cats.org.uk another good site for info on our felines. Cats Protection also offer advise on rehoming and downloadable care leaflets. There is also a kids section designed to educate the cat owners of the future.
 
Rabbits:
www.rabbitwelfare.co.uk for all things rabbity. Loads of advice on improving the way we look after our bunnies.
